20 MAKEUP TIPS NOBODY TELLS YOU!

With a few tips and tricks, you don't have to be a professional to have perfect makeup!

It may take time to fully understand the shape of his face, the colors that highlight us or the quantity of products to use.

But I think you can find your morning routine! You don't have to spend hours getting ready. Once you have the know-how, you'll see how easy it is to showcase your strengths and hide your imperfections. Here are 20 makeup tips and tricks you wish you knew earlier!

1. The plastic spoon

Use a plastic spoon to easily apply mascara to your lower lashes. You will thus avoid putting hard on your skin.

2. Application of the Blush

To apply your blush properly, start by determining your face shape. Blush not only gives you a pretty complexion, but also defines the contours of your cheeks.

The way you apply it allows you to beautify the features of your face, or to soften them.

3. Eye tape

This "unconventional" beauty aid will guide you through the application of your eye makeup, especially if you are going for a bold look!

It will also help you look the same for both eyes.

4. Corrector and dark circles

Many of us simply put concealer on the lower part of our eyes. But, to make dark circles disappear completely, it is better to highlight the crease under the eye, then apply a darker shade to the rest of the lower eyelid.

5. Play of light

Makeup is, after all, just a play of light. By highlighting certain areas, you can easily create the illusion of a more intense and deep look.

Light shades (whites, creams and pearls) should be applied to the inner corners, middle of the eyelid and just under the bone of the outer eyelid tip.

Apply them first, then move on to your darker shades.

6. Add a few drops of saline solution to your mascara tube.

If your mascara hasn't reached its expiration date, but it's getting a little mushy, add a few drops of saline to get a better texture.

7. Exfoliate your lips

Use a baby toothbrush to exfoliate your lips. To really get the job done efficiently, use a homemade recipe mixing sugar, honey, and coconut oil.

Another, easier, but less effective solution is to use lip balm or petroleum jelly.

8. Put on your eyeshadow

Getting your eyeshadow and eyeliner right is just as important as choosing colors.

Depending on how you put them on, you can create any illusion you want. With careful placement, you can give the illusion that your eyes are wider, closer, more prominent, deeper, etc.

Determine the shape of the eyes you have and then accentuate them accordingly.

9. Enlarge your gaze

If you don't already have a nude pencil, get one! Using a nude pencil gives the illusion of a bigger look. If you have very fair skin, a white pencil works just as well.

10. Restore shine to your eyeshadow

Have you ever bought an eye shadow that when applied looks rather dull? The key to giving it back its shine is to use a white base. Use white eyeliner and cover your entire eyelid with it before applying eye shadow.

11. Use a hair dryer on your eyelash curler

Use it for about 3-5 seconds. Heat works the same way your hair straightener does. You will have curled lashes for the whole day.

12. Choose the right shade

Your neck is shaded by your chin and jawline, which means it's less exposed to the sun and is closer to your natural skin color than your face. Here are the instructions to follow.

First of all, it is better to give preference to natural light. Take several shades with you.

Lift your chin, and apply them with your finger on your finger. Pick the one that works best.

Once established, apply it on your neck.

13. Use a business card to apply your mascara.

14. Enlarge your gaze

This trick helps attract light and gives the illusion of a larger upper eyelid.

Use a light pink matte pencil. Start at the inside corner of the upper eyelid and draw a line towards the outside corner.

Blend with your finger. If you mix too much, repeat the steps.

15. Eyeliner Tips

When I talk to my friends, I can't help but check to see if their eyeliner isn't running. Some eyeliners are more sensitive to this, especially those that are not waterproof. But I don't like to use this type of makeup because it can be very difficult to remove.

To prevent the eyeliner from running, I apply mattifying powder just under the eyeliner. This creates a barrier, preventing your eyeliner from coming down.

16. Draw your eyebrows

Much like contouring, your eyebrow shape and thickness can help soften your face shape. So, don't do anything. Here is an image that may help you.

17. Homemade BB cream

It works as well as a “real” BB cream, hiding imperfections with a truly natural look. Just mix your favorite moisturizing lotion with a little bit of your concealer.

18. Eye lift illusion

Here's another handy makeup trick! This trick is undetectable at first glance and the great thing is that it creates the illusion of an eyelift. It's subtle but quick and easy!

As in the photo, draw a line with your favorite highlighter. Mix gently with your finger so that the product penetrates the skin, but does not disappear completely.

19. Lipstick: 3D effect

So simple! Use your finger to mark a little red with your powdered and compact highlighter.
